Did You Know? Art can be created using items we usually put in our recycling bins (e.g. cardboard boxes, yogurt cartons, kitchen roll inserts, plastic bottles and so on). Your challenge this week is to create a piece of Art using mainly recyclable materials. Just have a look around you and see what materials you already have. You will also need tape and/or glue.
Safety first: Don’t use glass or any sharp or dangerous items. Ask for permission from a parent/guardian before using scissors.
What can you make?
Here are some ideas:
A miniature costume/outfit
A robot
A pencil holder
A container for storing some of your belongings
A boat or car
A famous building
Your dream home
A photo frame
A submarine
A rocket
An animal
An alien
When your creation is ready show it to your family and explain how it was made. Find a nice place to display your piece. It is amazing what can be made from such simple, everyday items. We can't wait to see what you create!
